My first collection in my new studio completed in the beginning of 2021. It started as a study in preparation for a commission and then took a form of its own.

The Protea flower is known to symbolize a beauty that stands out, embracing uniqueness and diversity, and the boldness to create and accept the inevitable changes.

I paired the composition of flowers with the Adrinkra symbol "FAWOHODIE", which represents independence, freedom, emancipation.

The word is taken from the expression: "Fawodhodie ene obre na enam." The Literal translation: "Independence comes with its responsibilities."
